QUARTER 1 LESSONS
Fourth Grade Technology Lessons focus on typing skills development and spreadsheet budgets with charts (Qtr.1), coding and logic games (Qtr.2), graphics and photo editing (Qtr.3), and presentations (Qtr.4).
In the first quarter, students continue to develop two hand homerow typing proficiency. Students will begin to use their online account for CPS email and Google Drive. They will create a variety of spreadsheet budgets with charts using Google Sheets. Students will learn spreadsheet vocabulary such as rows,columns, cells, data, values, and formulas.

QUARTER 3 LESSONS
In the 3rd quarter, 4th grade students continue to develop two hand homerow typing proficiency. Students learn to manipulate photos and create their own graphics using a photo editing and drawing program called Gimp. Students practice word processing skills and file management to complete their projects. Students will open, save, name and rename files, as well as create and name folders in Google Drive throughout these weekly projects.
